Carpometacarpal Dislocations And Treatment

Abstract

Carpometacarpal dislocations are among the rare orthopaedic problems and they are frequently overlooked. Disability of the hand occurs in nontreated or delayed treatment. In this paper we discuss the results of seven patients with carpometacarpal dislocation or CMC fracture dislocation who were treated between 1989 and 1994 in our departments.
