Abstract

The knee joint is the most common joint injured in human body. Anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is the most important stabilizer of the knee and injury of this ligament is very common. Arthrotomic reconstruction using bone-patellar tendon-bone autogreft was applied to 24 patients resorted our center after diagnostic arthroscopy. Following operation, the patients were accepted in to rehabilitation program. At one year follow up, outcomes were perfect in 7 (29.1%), good in 9 (37.5%), sufficient in 5 (20.9%) and insufficient in 3 (12.5%) patients.
