Abstract
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma (HE) is a rarely seen tumour with variable histo-pathology and clinic. In this study, we present a case with multicentric epithelioid hemagioendothelioma in the right gluteus maximus muscle. A fifty-six years old male patient had, which increased with resting and decreased with activity, behind his right thigh for two years. Magnetic resonance imaging demonstrated two tumours with relatively regular contours, and hipointensity in TIA imaging and slightly hiperintens in T2A imaging in the gluteus maximus. Two dark brownish red tumour were removed by a wide surgical excision. The histo-pathological examination was demonstrated a tumour with uniform cells in epiteloid appearance created vascular structures. Nether an adjuvant radiotherapy or chemotherapy were applied. In his five years follow-up, no local recurrence or metastases have been observed.
