Methods: Seven patients with primery shoulder tuberculosis were treated in orthopedics clinic of Dicle Üniversty Hospital during 1999-2000 years. Mean age of the patients was 23 years. Five patients were male and two fameles.All patients had open biopsy and chemothreapy with three agents for 12 months of duration. No patients had syneviectomy or primary arthrodesis patients were followed up for 28 months.
Results: According to the Wilhinson criteriae 4 patients were accepted excellent, 2 moderate and one bad.
Discussion: According to Martini classification we think that only chemotherapy has to be considered for patients in stage I and II, and initially debridman and arhrodesis of necessary for patients in stage III and IV.
