Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to evaluate, the clinical and radiological results of patients with unstable intertrochanteric fractures treated with primary hip hemiarthroplasty. Advancement of the techniques and the technologies in arthroscopy and increase of knowledge about the anterior cruciate ligament have resulted in a significant improvement in the diagnosis and treatment of the anterior cruciate ligament pathologies. This study discusses the clinical evaluation of 16 patients treated with the standard protocol. Our results are similar with the literature and we improve the patients to achieve the pre-injury level which is the main principal.
