Abstract

Purpose: Larsen's syndrome is characterized by the association of multiple congenital joint dislocations, characteristic facial abnormalities,joint hyperlaxity and other systems malformations. In our study we proposed diagnostic criteria based on the frequency and locatization of the deformities.
Patients and methods: We wish to report the cases of three siblings with this syndrome. Radiological aspects, clinical evolution, early and late results, complications are presented.
Discussion: Good clinical results are more remarkable in the children diagnosed and treated early. The characteristic pathologic findings were compared with published papers.
Conclusion: Eearly surgical treatment and regular follow-up is necessary for good results.
