Abstract
Muscle sliding operation of M. Supraspinatus for extensive and retracted rotator cuff tears has first been performed by Debeyre in 1965. In three cases diagnosed as chronic rotator cuff tears, the defect was repaired using Debeyre's technique, and, at the same time partial acromionectomy and intraarticular biceps tendon resection operation was performed. The chronic feature of the cases as well as the occasion to review Debeyre's tchnique were the aims of this presentation.
